My Passion

Marketing is my passion therefore I was elated to lead assistant in the coordination of WADL TV 38 “Warm Hugs” promotions. The community event provides new winter coats for needy families and their school age children. My core responsibility was to generate get the word out about “Warm Hugs” using social media and grass root marketing. Every hour I updated WADL TV 38 Face book and Twitter pages with the time location and details about this charitable event.  Because hundreds of children showed up and received new coats this event has a special place in my heart and is the reason why I love my job. I was raised to be a blessing to someone who can’t pay you back.

DETROIT, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- It is no secret that Michigan has been among the hardest hit regions economically, rising unemployment, major businesses leaving the area, and foreclosures. Metropolitan area Detroiters have found themselves shuffling limited resources just to survive. During this bitter cold season, needy school children will brave the cold to get to school and some will stay home due to lack of proper warm clothing.
On Monday, January the 18th at 11AM, hundreds of needy children will be able to get a brand new coat free due to a very special partnership.
The Kmart partnership with WADL-TV38 in this noble undertaking further reinforces what community commitment is about states President of WADL-TV38.

Any family receiving assistance from the department of family services will be able to get a brand new coat. You must bring your medical card, your child, and your id to the Kmart store located on Telegraph and 8 Mile.

I worked with the Director of Marketing Denise Dody Johnson on the Detroit City Council Debate.  We reached out to all of the candidates and invited them to take part in this history making event.  



WADL TV 38 Will Broadcast a Series of Live Debates With the Final 18 Candidates Vying for Eight Detroit City Council Seats



DETROIT, Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- WADL TV 38 will remain true to its promise to provide Detroiters with an open, informed and uncompromised political debate series. Eighteen candidates have been voted by Detroiters as the most feasible candidates to lead the city of Detroit towards restoration.
"Our commitment to providing the community with an up-close and personal look at candidates continues to be a priority for the station," states  President WADL TV 38.
On Thursday, October 15th, 2009, WADL will begin a three-part debate series. The series will feature six candidates per debate and will be televised live on WADL. All eighteen candidates will receive an official invitation to debate the issues that are of the utmost concern to Detroiters.
On August 20th all candidates will be invited to the WADL studios to draw numbers for their debate date. The scheduled debates are Thursday, October 15th a 9:00PM, Thursday, October 22nd at 9:00PM, and Thursday, October 29th at 9:00PM.
